The world’s first certified zero-emission fast ferry will be launched in Norway this summer. Currently, under construction at the Fjellstrand yard, the battery-electric catamaran Medstraum is planned to operate a public route and carry around 150 passengers.
The vessel is realized through the groundbreaking TrAM project and includes new developments in hull shapes, propulsion systems as well as studies of advanced manufacturing methods.
Meet the TrAM partners at stand T02-27 (Maritime Clean Tech Stand). This unique vessel will be presented at the ModularizationTalks at 14:00, April 5th.
