SUMMARY:Zero-Emission passenger transport at European waterways
DESCRIPTION:On behalf of The Mission of Norway to the EU and the TrAM project partners\, we would like to invite you to our High-Level Seminar in Brussels on May 10th. \nHear leading EU stakeholders discuss the possibility of speeding up the green transition of seaborne passenger transport in Europe. \nHow can we make zero-emission passenger transport at sea the new norm and make it competitive in terms of cost and the environment? \nThrough advanced modular production\, the EU-funded TrAM project has constructed the world’s first zero-emission high-speed craft Medstraum. Today\, this groundbreaking vessel operates a public commuting route in Stavanger\, Norway\, transporting 147 passengers daily. After six months in operation\, what have we learnt? \nDuring the seminar\, you will meet EU representatives\, Norwegian Government representatives\, NGOs\, transport providers from European regions\, and the TrAM project frontrunners. \nLimited spots are available – this is a personal and non-transferable invitation. To secure your spot\, register by 30 April. (Are you interested in receiving an invitation to the seminar: post@maritimecleantech.no) \nThe seminar is at Norway House\, Rue Archimède 17\, 1000 Bruxelles. \nSee the full agenda and sign up here.
